The Department of Human Services supports Australians to access the child care subsidies they may be entitled to. It incorporates Centrelink services.

The MyChild website is an Australian Government website providing information to families in regards to CCB approved child care services, vacancies and ratings of those services.

Provides information on infectious diseases and compiles the Staying Healthy in Childcare guides.
NSW Department of Education – Early Childhood Education
The Department of Education is the governing body for child care services in NSW, they are responsible for the assessment and rating of services, the maintenance of quality and the investigation of complaints. If you have a grievance with your childcare service that they have not attended to, you are able to seek support from the Early Childhood Education Directorate at the Department of Education.

This page provides information regarding the immunisation requirements for accessing child care in NSW.

Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority
The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) is an independent national authority that assists governments in implementing the National Quality Framework (NQF) for children’s education and care.
ACECQA works with the Australian and state and territory governments to:
- Implement changes that benefit children birth to 13 years of age and their families
- Monitor and promote the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories
- Support the children’s education and care sector to improve quality outcomes for children
